The song is ballad and is written about an illusive dream. In the dream the character seems to be drifting away in a cold winter world. While the dreamer sleeps, the moon shines on, but the nighttime will soon end as a mystic dawn approaches. The song starts out softly with Russian overtones and then builds as the dreamer's visions heighten.
